Financial Literacy
The government is concentrating on pan-India banking, which
emphasises the need for financial education. Our mission was
to educate women about the financial side of banking.
Through financial literacy training, women learn the value of money, what saving is, and how to save and use money. Women in our society are seen as savers since they are gifted with the ability to manage large sums of money.
Our goal is to impart financial responsibility to them so that they can assist their families in growing. Funds are needed to create infrastructure to boost output, but rural residents need help getting cash from banks and other institutions. A federation or SHG group was formed to provide collective funding and to keep them out of the clutches of heavy money lenders.
SHGs groups were formed to teach the importance of financial knowledge. A total of 208 people were taught banking fundamentals by experienced
professionals, including how to keep track of their money,
manage their savings, and keep records.
